本作刃長は二尺三寸一分六厘。身幅、重ね共に尋常で、反りが適度で中切っ先となる刀姿です。
地鉄は板目肌で地沸が付きます。刃文は互の目乱れを主として尖り刃、逆がかる刃を交えた焼刃となります。刃中には金筋、処々砂流しがかかり盛んに働きます。本刀現代拵に収まった居合向きの御刀で、研ぎは古いですが綺麗な地刃を示し、無銘ながら味わい深い一口です。写真には写りにくいヒケ、スレ等がございます。お気になさる場合はご遠慮下さい。
