Greetings from the owner
The Japanese sword is a world-class artwork and the pride of Japan. Since it was originally made to serve as a weapon, the Japanese sword must be built to perform in a life-or-death battle without warping or breaking. In other words, it must be crafted to maximize its function as a cutting weapon while ensuring its durability. The sublime beauty of the Japanese sword is achieved only when all the unnecessary elements are eliminated from its figure and shape.
Born and forged in fire, the mysterious Japanese sword has served as a symbol of worship and authority, as well as one of the foundations of the Japanese spirit since ancient times. Some referred to them as “guardian swords” as they were believed to protect the body and soul from impurity from birth to death. Some swords have even been preserved over thousands of years to the present day.
The Japanese sword is not just a weapon. It is a valuable piece of historical record and cultural heritage. Gazing at the Japanese sword allows us to experience the eternity of time and history and appreciate Japanese culture.
Captivating all those who take it in their hands, the Japanese sword is recognized in Japan and around the world as the greatest representation of iron artworks and sword craftsmanship. Forged and sharpened to the finest precision, the Japanese sword exudes a refined and dignified aura, filled with an alluring quality unmatched by any other works of art. The Japanese sword, as a category of artwork, has the greatest number of designated national treasures and cultural assets for Japan. No other swords built as weapons in the world offer as much value and artistry as the Japanese sword.
We strive daily to be the most trusted and respected store by introducing high-quality and highly valuable Japanese swords to our customers.
